The Curriculum

Al Muntada Girls’ Secondary School follows the National Curriculum of study in conjunction with Quran, Islamic Education and Arabic as part of our core subjects. This programme is aimed at enhancing spiritual, intellectual and psychological growth.

We strive to produce pupils who will grow and develop into confident and motivated young people.  Helping every student to realise her academic potential is central to out ethos. 

The curriculum produces the following range of subjects:

The curriculum does not exist in isolation; of course, its content and approach are complemented by the extra-curricular programme, offered by the school. This provides the girls with the opportunity to develop further skills and talents.

Year 10 and 11

In year 10 and 11 students are assisted in taking between 7 to 10 subjects.  English Language, Mathematics and Science are the core subjects.

In addition, students may choose three further options from the following subjects: Englsih Literature, R.E, History, Geography, ICT, Art and Design, Psychology, Business Studies and Arabic.
